This week: Attio rasies their Series B, all partners for GTME School announced, and GTME jobs at Calendly, Remote, Pocus, Anything, and more!
Let's dive in!
1. Recent news
Attio raises $33M Series B to scale its CRM platform. Attio announced a $33M Series B led by Redpoint Ventures, with participation from existing backers such as Point Nine and Balderton. The company positions itself as a modern, flexible CRM built for product-led companies, focusing on customizable data models and collaboration. GTM Engineers benefit from next-gen CRMs like Attio that are API-first, customizable, and designed to integrate seamlessly with enrichment, automation, and AI workflows.
Outreach Launches August 2025 Product Release with Agentic AI. Outreach unveiled its August 2025 product release featuring new AI agents, including a Research Agent that saves hours of manual account research and enhanced collaboration tools. The platform now integrates agentic AI-powered workflows across the revenue cycle, improving both pace and precision of sales engagements.
Forbes: AI is restructuring, and GTM engineers are taking over. (Aug 19, 2025) This article by our friend Aurelien from Cargo argues that AI is collapsing traditional sales and marketing silos, making technical operators the new growth drivers. Instead of RevOps generalists, companies are hiring GTM Engineers to design workflows that integrate AI agents, enrichment, and automation across stacks. A mainstream business outlet validating GTM Engineering signals the role’s transition from niche to central in modern B2B growth models.
GTM Engineer School announces all partners. Students of cohort 2 of GTM Engineer School will learn how to master AI workflows for both inbound and outbound within Clay, Octave, Cargo, and AirOps. We have one more surprise to reveal next week 😉 so stay tuned. There are less than 50 seats available out of 75!

2. Trending on LinkedIn
The Reality of AI x GTM Implementation. Brendan Short shared insights on the challenging reality of implementing AI in GTM processes, highlighting the unglamorous work behind AI automation including Q/A'ing results, chasing bugs, and extensive testing. The post resonated with practitioners experiencing similar challenges in production environments.
20x LLM sessions and 15x brand impressions in 5 months with AI workflows. Our friend Jimmy Pal shared how old tactics (backlink buying, siloed agencies, keyword-only content) are out, while AI-native system of weekly experiments, content clusters, and data-driven assets are in. The approach prioritizes self-learners, a single KPI, and cross-team knowledge transfer. GTM Engineers can apply these principles to scale impact — running 10× more experiments with 1/10th the budget by focusing on workflows, not perfection.
What should you really spend on a sales stack? A founder asked if $5K/month was necessary — and the answer was no. After 8 years in SaaS sales, the author shared tiered stacks: $500 bootstrap stack (Apollo, Instantly, ChatGPT free), $1K growth stack (Clay + enrichment + Attio CRM + Claude Pro), and $5K scale stack (HubSpot, multi-signal intent, n8n/Zapier automation). GTM Engineers should scale tooling with the business stage — starting lean and layering enrichment, intent, and automation only as the team grows.

5. Top GTM workflows
15 Clay workflows you couldn’t build before. David Turewicz spotlights new “signal-based” workflows: instant alerts when your brand trends, competitors tweak pricing, or rival features disappear, so you can act first. GTM Engineers can now operationalize competitor and market intelligence directly into outreach workflows, transforming signals into pipeline faster than ever.
“I copy successful apps with Lovable, then sell them.” Jacob Klug shares how he uses Lovable’s AI app builder to clone winning apps in minutes, then rebrands and sells them. Tools like Lovable collapse the gap between idea and execution, enabling faster experiments and cheaper validation of product-led growth bets.
Systemizing cold calling with HubSpot + Clay. Dan Rosenthal shared how SDRs can scale cold calls by tightly integrating campaigns with GTM Ops workflows. GTM Engineers can operationalize cold calling as part of automated outbound, ensuring SDRs spend time only on Tier 1 prospects with full context in hand.
6. Recommended GTM Engineering resources
